1. Who We Are and What We Do

Ev-ent Tech provides event management and ticketing software. To make the platform work, we need to process some personal information on behalf of Event Organizers. Under POPIA, we act as the "Operator" for guest data, and the Event Organizer is the "Responsible Party."

2. What Information We Collect

• From Organizers: Name, email, company details, and payment information (when applicable).
• From Guests (via Organizers): Names, ticket types, check-in times, and any optional details the organizer chooses to upload (like dietary requirements).

3. Why We Collect It

We only use this data to make your event run smoothly. We use it to create your account, process check-ins at the door, calculate event revenue, and provide you with post-event analytics. We do not sell your data or your guests' data to third-party marketers. Ever.

4. How We Keep It Safe

We use modern, enterprise-grade cloud security to protect your data. Guest lists are siloed so that one organizer cannot access another organizer's event data.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to know what data we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete your account entirely. Event Organizers are responsible for deleting their specific guest lists after an event if they no longer need them. To request data deletion, contact our Information Officer at event17tech@gmail.com.
